As MBAs are beginning to begin their job search to prepare for graduation, the interview process can be strenuous. Many career hopefuls are looking to get their names out there so they can stand out to potential employers.
Many MBA programs are looking to help this process by offering all of the resources that students can use to get their foot in the door, according to the Wall Street Journal. Some MBA programs are offering virtual interviews through telecommunication software that allows their students to meet with potential employers through video chat.
However, just because it's a virtual interview does not mean that MBA students should treat it like a mockery. According to career experts, potential employees should still dress the part as though they were going into an office for an interview. Wearing professional attire is key for impressing the hiring staff, and sometimes virtual interviews can leave less room for presentation, so it's best to try that much harder.
Hiring is beginning to pick up. According to the Seattle Times, economic experts are predicting that 300,000 jobs will be created in March.
