Individuals who are looking to pursue an MBA degree while continuing to work full-time sometimes consider online MBA programs, as these programs can allow the worker to focus on both their career, as well as their studies.
Some online MBA programs are now looking to boost their offerings to make the courses more interactive so students can receive the full experience, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The news provider reports that with 41 percent of business schools offering online MBA programs, the number of students pursuing these programs increased from 2,690 students in 2006 to 4,433 in 2009.
Schools are working tirelessly to ensure that their students are engaged enough so they will want to complete their online MBA degree.
"We are trying to make a concerted effort to make each student succeed," Ann Silverthorn, an online MBA program director, told the news provider.
Individuals who are interested in having lucrative salaries may want to consider pursuing an online MBA program. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, MBA degree holders make an average of $1,257 a week.
