MBA students do a variety of different activities to help them acquire advanced business skills, but sometimes, it's more about fun and games and helping out a good cause.
One upcoming example is the annual MBA Games at Duke University, which will be held at the end of March. The event is a fundraiser for the Special Olympics, and features former Olympians and MBA students pairing up for some good-natured competition. The games are now in their 21st year.
According to a blog on the Babson University website, some of last year's events included a swimming relay race where participants wore business suits, as well as a dizzy bat race and a beanbag toss.
The event may be light-hearted, but students are also acquiring valuable networking opportunities with colleagues from other schools.
While there's plenty of hard work involved, studying for an MBA degree can be a fun and rewarding process that will pay dividends for years to come. Take some time to examine the various opportunities, including online MBA courses, that may be available to you.
