MBA students are known for being driven individuals with set goals in mind. This does not change in their career dreams.
The majority of MBA students have one job target on their mind McKinsey, the international consulting firm, according to LiveMint.com. A survey revealed that for the second year in a row, the firm was ranked number one as the dream employer.
McKinsey, founded in 1926, serves as a consultant to some of the largest corporations in the world.
Also making the list are Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) and Tata Administrative Services. HUL was also included in the top three last year. One of the major surprises was Goldman Sachs rising five spots to number six, after placing in 11th place last year. This may come as a surprise to some as the banking firm has come under scrutiny for their excessive bonuses despite receiving a government bailout.
Individuals who also have a company like McKinsey on their mind should consider enrolling in an international MBA program. International curricula can provide the insight needed to manage powerful global companies by learning about various markets and ethical issues.
