Women Look To Come Together For MBA Conference

As more women begin to pursue their MBA degree, some organizations are looking to encourage more women in MBA programs through conferences.
Statistics show that although some women have aspirations of furthering their education, MBA programs are still very much a boy's club. According to Catalyst.org, women made up for 35.5 percent of MBA degrees in 2007.
The National Association for Women MBAs is holding a conference in Kentucky in October as a way for women to network with each other and share their MBA experiences, according to the Courier-Journal.
The conference plans to host a leadership training session as well as career fair for women who are still looking for potential job opportunities. The organization's main goal is to propel women into executive leadership positions that have been traditionally dominated by males.
