Ohio University is offering a special MBA program targeted at business professionals interested in advancing their knowledge who may not have the time to go to school full-time.
The program is situated on the university's Lancaster Campus and consists of seven quarters, the Lancaster Eagle Gazette reports.
For Andy Barber, who is currently enrolled in the MBA program and set to earn his degree in two years, the part-time program has allowed him to go to school and work full-time, according to the article.
"I don't have kids, but some of the students in the class do and they're not having any problems keeping up or getting the work done," Barber told the news provider.
Ed Yost, director of the part-time MBA program, said interest in the school's business classes have increased since the downturn of the economy and that "these students know they have to differentiate themselves in the market," states the Gazette.
For business professionals interested in obtaining an MBA degree, this might be a cue to enroll in a part-time program which can allow them to keep their job.
