People who study for executive MBA degrees are benefiting more and more from international business experience.
This week, the Wall Street Journal reported on the growing trend of EMBA programs that incorporate overseas learning experiences. This is more valuable than ever given the increasingly global nature of business and the corporate world.
Examples provided in the report include Duke University's program, which sends EMBA students to six countries over 16 months, and Northwestern, which last year was said to have sent about half its class to a variety of countries for two-week study programs.
"It's gone from a nice thing to do on the sidelines, to the reason why students [say they] are coming to the school," Sebastian Teunissen of the University of California at Berkeley told the newspaper.
If you've considered studying for an executive MBA degree, there's no time like the present to consider your options, both online and in traditional classroom settings.
