Students just completing their MBA program may see a rise in job opportunities. PricewaterhouseCoopers' Private Company Trendsetter Barometer released survey results indicating 57 percent of CEOs plan to increase their employer expenses in the next 12-18 months, with the majority looking to hire new talent.
According to the respondents, 82 percent of hiring companies are looking to fill positions with new talent. This will be used as a way to fill the gaps left by the cuts brought on by the recession. Analysts also believe that this is a step in the right direction in showing that the economy is improving.
"We're seeing the leading private companies looking to hire new workers or increase the compensation of existing employees, reinforcing Trendsetter Barometer data that CEOs are planning for an upturn," Ken Esch, partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers Private Company Services practice, said in a statement.
While hiring appears to be on the rise, employers are still looking for the most qualified candidates. An MBA program could provide you with knowledge that companies might see as useful, and they could potentially take you on as a new hire.
