As many individuals are looking to pursue a higher education degree such as an MBA, there are a number of people who require a program with a flexible schedule. Because of this trend, more business schools are beginning to offer MBA online programs as a way to meet the needs of individuals who have full-time work or family commitments.
The University of Louisiana at Monroe College (ULM) of Business has begun to offer an MBA online program for the fall 2010 semester, according to the News Star. Academic officials are quick to point out that the program will have the same offerings as their campus-based curriculum but will be for the benefit of those who cannot commit to a full-time schedule.
"We are confident the iMBA will provide professionals the experience and convenience that has made our traditional classroom program such a success," ULM dean of the college of business administration, Ronald Berry, told the news provider.
If you're interested in enrolling in an MBA online program, many business schools are offering the virtual degree as a means of reaching the students who may not otherwise be able to enroll.
