While studying for a degree may conjure images of students spending their days meeting friends on campus and partying at night, you may be wondering what options are available if you want to study for an MBA but are responsible for young children.

But another potential situation noted by Business Week is that when women decide to study for an MBA degree, they are often at the age when they might be considering starting a family, something that you may currently be discussing.
"This becomes an even trickier proposition for women MBA s who work in fields like banking and consulting, which require long hours and mandatory face time," Elissa Sangster, Executive Director of the Forte Foundation tells the business forum.
With recent changes in the fiscal arena, such as California announcing that it has raised $5 billion in the credit markets from retail investors, the Financial Times reports, now could be the right time to apply for an online MBA .
