When it comes to selecting MBA programs, individuals often look towards how a business school is ranked in success and accreditation.
Recently, Indiana University Northwest's (IUN) business school recently received accreditation form the Association of Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) for another six years, according to NWI.com.
IUN was one of 45 MBA programs in the country to receive the certification. To be recognized by the association is considered a high achievement of academic proficiency, as it shows that the MBA courses are challenging enough to push the students to succeed.
"Students are encouraged to take their education very seriously," MBA student, Despina Amanatidis, told the news provider. "We are always focusing on what the next step is and that they're better prepared to take their place in the work force."
For prospective MBA students, it's important to look at how MBA programs rank among each other. Choosing a program that offers a lot of internship experience may also be key, as it will help prepare you for the working world.
