Many MBAs are known for their strategic mindset that they pick up in their studies. Because MBA schools train students how to think with an ethical mindset to solve business problems, many individuals who hold the degree are sought for high positions.
NCI, an information technology (IT) and engineering company, recently announced that John Woloski will join the team as the senior vice president of strategic initiatives.
Woloski, who has an MBA degree, also has vast experience in information systems. Starting his career in active duty for the U.S. Army Signal Corps as a communications-electronics/signal officer, he went on to spend 21 years in various tactical communications units.
In his career, he has more than 30 years of experience in control and information systems. NCI executives took note of his experience and felt he'd be a good member to add to the team.
"His extensive hands-on experience in operating, managing, and developing communications and computer systems will be invaluable as we expand our organic growth focus and leverage our prime positions on major Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs)," said NCI president Terry Glasgow. "We look forward to his knowledge and insights in driving and creating value within our organization."
