Many individuals believe that having an MBA degree offers a level of knowledge that most people don't achieve. Because of this savvy business sense, people with MBA degrees are often sought out to deliver advice on anything related to the business or financial sectors.
Some MBAs are being sought to provide advice for managing funds during the economic recession, according to the Associated Press. Since the financial crisis of 2008, many people have been trying to save their money and make smart business decisions.
The news provider asked some of the top MBA graduates to share their advice on how the American public can ensure they're financially stable.
One MBA student, Brandon Garrett, suggested that younger individuals may want to embrace their college roots and practice frugality, such as eating on the cheap, finding the least-expensive laundry facility or finding the best discounts.
Garrett told the news provider that this practice should not stop even when the individual begins receiving higher paychecks.
"Frugality shouldn't end with career security," he said.
If you're interested in offering financial advice, you may want to consider a finance MBA. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, many positions in the financial sector require holding an MBA degree.
