A new Health and Human Services (HHS) measure inventory has been announced by the Department of HHS as the first-ever register of quality benchmarks.
The record is designed to bring developed collaboration between the quality measurement sector and to synchronize such techniques, the department states.
Such news may be encouraging for you if you are looking to progress within the management and financial side of the healthcare industry and you were considering participating in an online health management MBA.
Commenting on the development, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality Director Carolyn Clancy says: "The release of this inventory is an important step in providing healthcare providers, clinicians, patients, policymakers and others with reliable, comprehensive information on the departments efforts to measure and improve healthcare quality.
It was recently reported by the Healthcare Financial Management Association that the president-elect Barack Obama's plan to overhaul the healthcare system could result in the credit profiles of pharmaceutical companies having downward pressure applied on them.
For professionals who wish to have more influence in the policy analysis of the industry, an online MBA in health management could be one option to achieve such status.
