Market uncertainty has led to the hiring of professionals in the financial markets slower and more competitive, a report says, although a finance MBA could put you one step ahead of your rivals.
And you may be more equipped to withstand such decline than your younger counterparts as many of you would have been working in the sector when the dot com bubble first burst, Time reports.
"Recruiting season typically heats up at the end of October, as smartly-dressed company reps fly in to dangle the big numbers that quickly lure spreadsheet-crunching MBAs on to the lower rungs of their corporate ladders," the news forum writes.
Furthermore, it adds that some graduates are turning to consulting positions in a bid to put their MBAs to good use, a vocation that could be attractive to you.
But you may want to sign up for an online MBA fast, after the New York Times reports that 12 per cent more people registered to take the Graduate Management Admissions Test this year, compared to the same point last year.
