Although distance learning MBA programs may make it easier for some individuals to get an education, William Pepicello, the president of University of Phoenix, told the news provider that the current generation is in danger of being less educated than the previous one.
Some education officials argue that one of the benefits of online education is that admissions are not as selective. Because all of the learning is done via the internet, there is no need to restrict students because of classroom size.
