Although the economy is still slowly recovering, MBA graduates are beginning to see bright spots in the job market with start-up, alternative energy and high technology companies looking to hire on more people.
Many MBA students are beginning to look into companies in Boston, Silicon Valley and Seattle, according to Reuters.
"Our MBAs are unbowed, and they came back with a lot of gusto," MBA adviser Paul Denning, who has made the trek to California for several years, told the news source."The general consensus is that things are better, particularly in Silicon Valley."
As companies become more optimistic about the future, they are beginning to look to hire more qualified individuals who can help their company be successful. MBA students who are graduating in 2011 are already starting to look for possible career opportunities.
MBAs may have a better chance of landing a job because many MBA programs require previous work experience. This requirement coupled with the knowledge gained from an MBA program could help an individual land a job.
