Some large corporations tend to visit MBA schools in order to recruit upcoming graduates to join their team.
However, as some of these companies are beginning to cut their recruitment time, MBA programs are looking to offer the best in technology so that students may be interviewed via webcam, according to The Wall Street Journal.
Approximately 79 percent of schools told the news provider that recruitment visits have dropped as much as 20 percent over the last year.
Many MBA schools are beginning to incorporate more technology so they can attract businesses from outside the area.
"With this technology, [recruiters] don't have to stick to local schools," Randy Bitting, chief executive officer and co-founder of InterviewStream, told the news provider. "They can cherry-pick without worrying about travel costs or time-zone differences."
Other business schools are offering complimentary hotel rooms to encourage recruiters to visit without having to worry about spending money.
However, holding an MBA degree may boost your chances of finding a job. According to the most recent findings by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the unemployment rate for MBAs is only 2.4 percent.
