An MBA degree is reportedly in the future for at least one college basketball player.
A recent article in the Fort Mill (South Carolina) Times notes the Louisville senior Will Scott, who plays guard for the team, is preparing to finish up his MBA degree before going on to take a Modern Chinese Studies program at Oxford University.
The student athlete also happens to have a chance to help lead his team deep into the NCAA basketball playoffs later this month.
The report notes that Scott had initially started his education at Cornell but wanted a chance to play for famed coach Rick Pitino. He was also apparently drawn by an academic program that he credits with preparing him for overseas study.
