For people who are deciding to pursue an MBA, some may wonder when would be the right time to start looking at programs. While some students decide to enroll in an MBA program right after college, others may decide to test the waters of the business world before choosing to commit to an MBA.
While there is no right or wrong answer, it should depend on the person who is deciding to pursue the advanced degree, according to the Wall Street Journal. Analysts suggest that students who enroll right after they complete their undergraduate program may start off in the workforce in a more senior position than they would if they only had an undergrad degree.
Some experts are quick to point out that if someone already has a job opportunity right out of college, they may want to consider accepting the position and then pursuing an MBA later. This is so they can build on their previous business experience when they're in the program.
MBA experts believe that the average age of individuals entering an MBA program is between 27 and 28.
