Because many MBAs learn how to strategize their way through the business sector, many go on to use their knowledge to begin entrepreneurial endeavors. If their business is successful, this can sometimes lead to recognition by other high-powered executives in the field and lead to other career opportunities.
Adriana Pozzani Lynch, who has an MBA degree, was recently appointed the new SVP and chief marketing officer (CMO) for Arbonne International. This appointment comes after Lynch started her own consulting team, known as Pozzani & Associates, where she pushed for her consultants to go above and beyond for their clients.
Lynch is a veteran in the marketing and brand management sectors, having more than 18 years experience working for companies such as Procter & Gamble and Pillsbury International before opening her own firm.
Arbonne executives took notice of Lynch's work ethic and experience and felt that she was the right candidate for the job.
"She comes to us with a unique and impressive background of corporate brand building, entrepreneurial initiative and international experience," said Kay Napier, Arbonne's chief executive officer (CEO).
If you're interested in getting ahead in the marketing sector, an MBA may be able to help you climb the corporate ladder with your experience.
