Because some people seek out MBAs for having an understanding of the business and marketing industry, they are often sought out for advice.
The Super Bowl is the biggest night for sports and marketing. Every year, companies shell out millions of dollars for the chance to appear for a mere 30 seconds during one of the coveted Super Bowl commercial spots. A panel of MBAs were selected to vote on the most effective ad during the big game, according to Digital Journal.
Companies were charged $3 million for a 30-second spot during the game, which meant that advertising had to be quick and eye-catching.
The selected MBAs chose Google's searching ad, in which a man uses the search engine while finding love in Paris, to be the most effective in terms of commercialization.
One MBA professor told the news provider he thought the ad was "the perfect linkage between branding and the commercial."
If you're interested in developing an analytical sense of thinking which trains you to think inquisitively about marketing strategies and business decisions, an MBA program could help you achieve this.
