The Small Business Administration is reportedly taking new steps to help entrepreneurs survive the recession, such as offering web chats.
According to the Birmingham (Alabama) Business Journal, the first SBA web chat will take place at noon on January 15 and will last for one hour. The theme will be "How Small Businesses Can Deal With The Credit Crunch," with questions and answers that will inform small business owners about strategies they can use.
The report also notes that business owners can find a variety of other information on the Small Business Administration website, sba.gov. Another valuable source of information for entrepreneurs is SCORE, an organization that provides its combined business expertise in part from its own website, score.org.
However, much of this information may already be familiar to entrepreneurs who are currently working on or who have received MBA degrees.
Many may see advanced business education as a tool primarily used by employees at the nation's largest financial companies, but in reality, professionals in nearly every industry and at every level of the business world can benefit from the knowledge an MBA program has to offer, regardless of whether you study for an online MBA or in a traditional classroom setting.
