A website that helps MBAs and other professionals find work recently reported an abundance of senior marketing jobs.
On November 20, JobConcierge.com announced its database had more than 125,000 senior-level marketing jobs, including positions for CEOs, CFOs, directors and vice presidents. Many of the professionals who are suited to these positions hold a marketing MBA, meaning some current business school students might find the job market favorable when they graduate.
"The average jobseeker spends 50 hours each month in front of the computer searching through the major online job boards," said Jason Lee, the founder of the website. Individuals with the qualifications required to apply for a senior-level marketing position could have an easier time finding a desirable job than people with a lower level of education.
If you have always wanted to work in marketing but feel your degree hasn't prepared you for a job in this industry, consider enrolling in an MBA program today. While pursuing a marketing MBA, you could acquire the business knowledge that successful professionals in this field use every day.
