Investment bankers are looking for a career change to consulting, to aid financial firms which may be undergoing reorganization amid the current economic crisis, a report claims, which may be interesting news if you have an MBA degree or are looking to study for one.

"From what I understand about the big financial firms, they do look for real previous banking experience, whereas we look for a variety of backgrounds and skill sets," Nikki Rath, the senior manager of campus recruiting and diversity initiatives at Booz & Co tells Business Week.
Such skills could be acquired by studying for an MBA degree, although Business Week notes that there are many qualities shared by bankers and consultants, including a strong personality, quantitative ability and analytical skills.
