MBAs Nervously Wait For Results From Job Search

As many MBAs are on the cusp of graduation, many are beginning their job search with the hopes of finding employment as the economy begins to pick up.
Many MBAs are waiting with baited breath after their interviews, hoping to hear good news from a potential employer, according to BusinessWeek. Some MBAs have been job searching since December, hoping to secure a position at a company of their choice by graduation.
Although it's been a long process, some are being met with pleasant news. Although the unemployment rate grew 0.2 percentage points in April, many economists believe that the market is on the upswing and employers are starting to hire again, according to the Associated Press.
After the private sector created more than 260,000 jobs in April, it appears as though MBAs won't have as much of a grim outlook as those who were graduating last year.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the higher the degree one holds, the higher the chance they have at employment. This may be a reason for individuals who haven't already considered an MBA to ponder enrolling in a program.
