The New York Times reports that healthcare is the target career for 10 percent of MBA students at certain programs. This makes it the third most popular choice of focus, falling only behind financial services and consulting.

"For years, we have exposed MBA students to healthcare management issues and will continue to do so regardless of new legislation," Richard Hamermesh, professor of management practice at an MBA program, told the news provider.
