Northeastern University has seen popularity for its MBA programs increase amid the unstable footing of the current economic climate, it has been reported.
Four or five enquiries a week are being made during the current fall season, Lynne Sarikas, Director of the MBA career center at Northeastern University, tells the Providence Journal, adding that such demand is normally seen in spring.
"I fully expect we'll see an increase in applications for next year," she tells the news resource, while you may be interested to know that Northeastern University is also a provider of online MBA s.
The journal notes how finance professionals believe now is the time to study for new skills, which will hopefully give you the competitive edge over rivals when the market becomes stronger.
And if you need another reason to research online MBA programs, Sarikas adds that the odds on an improvement within the job market over the next two years are safe to bet on.
"Plus, you'll have the benefit of an advanced degree," she states to the journal.
In related news, Northeastern University recently announced that it had received a $100,000 grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to fund a global health research project.
