Some Female MBAs Offer Advice On Entrepreneurship
Being an entrepreneur can sometimes mean having to follow trend in order to properly market a business. Many MBAs who go on to be entrepreneurs are finding that as the business model changes, with technology becoming an integral part of marketing, they have to rethink their strategies in terms of pushing a product.
American Express OPEN recently launched The New Rules of Doing Business for Women Entrepreneurs, which was put together by several women entrepreneurs who attended a business summit.
"Women business owners are a vital part of the US economy and supporting them can make an important contribution to economic recovery across the country and in local communities," said Sophia Lundberg, Vice President at American Express OPEN.
A common practice of entrepreneurs is pursuing an MBA degree, as business schools can help them prepare to create a marketable venture. Individuals who are interested in learning more about what it takes to start their own business may want to consider pursuing an MBA degree.
