New York has been beaten by London as the top wireless city, with the UK capital having 12,276 wireless access points, it has been reported.
The Wireless Security Survey by RSA found that London's growth rate of access points since last year was 72 percent, compared to New York's 45 percent, although it could be said that a skilled workforce consisting of IT MBAs may encourage further internet growth in the US.
"As wireless networks continue to improve in terms of speed, bandwidth, safety - and ubiquity - this is good news for businesses and consumers alike," said Sam Curry, Vice-President of Identity and Access Assurance at RSA.
But he also warned of the severe consequences surrounding the potential of such networks for being hacked, which may persuade businesses that qualified staff - possibly with an IT MBA - should take control of company systems in order to prevent sensitive data from being stolen.
Additionally, you may be encouraged to hear the opinion of Zhafran on their ThankMother blog.
The blog claims that people from an MBA program earn a 35 percent salary increase upon graduating, while 71 percent are promoted within a few months.
