MBAs are boosting their marketing efforts in order to increase enrollment, according to BusinessWeek. As more schools are bolstering the number of featured programs, MBA schools are finding themselves competing with one another to draw in applicants.
Some programs are choosing to tout their qualified staff or their graduation rates, others are not engaging in promoting the bells and whistles and are instead simply sticking to the facts, hoping that students will choose them based on their honesty.
"This generation can see hype from a mile away," Daniel Poston, an assistant dean at an MBA program, told the news provider. "You have to cut through that and be straight with people."
