Title: USC Marshall School of Business Achieves Highest GMAT Score for Class of 2024
USC Marshall School of Business has set a new benchmark in the graduate management education landscape, with the highest average Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) score for the MBA Class of 2024. The prestigious institution achieved an exceptional score of 732, marking a significant 16-point increase from the score reported for the Class of 2021.
This remarkable achievement is a reflection of USC Marshall’s continued efforts to enhance various aspects of its program. The school’s upward trajectory can be attributed to its commitment to attracting the most talented applicants, curriculum innovation, notable career outcomes, and impressive rankings. USC Marshall’s GMAT average placed it in a commendable third position in 2022, trailing only behind Stanford Graduate School of Business and sharing the same ranking as the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and NYU Stern School of Business.
While 2022 showcased positive developments in GMAT scores, with 12 out of 27 MBA programs reporting increases, it fell short of the growth observed in the previous year. Across the 12 schools that witnessed score gains, the average growth was 5.3 points, in contrast to the notable increase of 8.7 points in 2021.
Noteworthy increases were also observed in other esteemed educational institutions. Alongside USC Marshall, Carnegie Mellon Tepper School of Business and UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School achieved double-digit year-over-year improvements in their class score averages.
USC Marshall’s staggering growth in GMAT scores is a testament to its continuous pursuit of excellence. Since 2020, the school has witnessed a remarkable 25-point increase in its GMAT average, positioning it as one of the top performers among renowned business schools. Another notable institution, Indiana Kelley School of Business, exhibited the most significant improvement, with a remarkable 33-point leap in its average score since 2020.
The landscape of MBA education is constantly evolving, and USC Marshall stands out as one of the front-runners when it comes to adapting to these changes. While 15 business schools have seen steady increases in their GMAT averages since 2017, five schools have regrettably fallen below their scores from six years ago.
USC Marshall’s accomplishment in achieving the highest GMAT score for the MBA Class of 2024 further underscores the school’s unwavering commitment to attracting top-tier applicants and consistently improving its admissions metrics. As the MBA landscape continues to evolve, USC Marshall’s dedication to excellence remains a driving force, ensuring its continued success in producing accomplished business leaders.
