LSU Gymnastics alumna Sarah Edwards recently celebrated a remarkable achievement as she earned her second degree in the illustrious Pete Maravich Assembly Center. Hailing from the beautiful coastal town of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, Edwards completed her Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) amidst much excitement and applause.
Edwards’ journey towards her MBA was preceded by her initial academic milestone – a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, which she obtained in May 2022. Edwards’ stellar performances on the mat earned her career highs of 9.975 on floor and an impressive 9.950 on vault. Her exceptional talent also garnered recognition, as she received All-American honors on vault in 2019. Edwards proved to be not only an outstanding athlete but also a dedicated scholar, as she earned recognition as a three-time SEC Academic Honor Roll member during her time at LSU.
