UNC Kenan-Flagler MBA Class of 2025 Emphasizes AI, STEM, and Digital Disruption
In an interview with members of the UNC Kenan-Flagler MBA Class of 2025, key points emerged regarding changes and enhancements in the program focused on AI, STEM, analytics, and digital disruption.
The MBA program has seen a significant increase in the emphasis on these areas, with new courses and modifications to existing ones aimed at equipping graduates with the skills to analyze data and drive business results effectively. Notably, 77% of core curriculum credit hours now cover STEM topics, while over 80% of elective content also focuses on STEM subjects.
Among the elective courses offered are artificial intelligence, data science, marketing strategy, and finance, reflecting the current emphasis on digital innovation and analytics in the business world. Students are encouraged to take six credits of elective coursework from other UNC departments, fostering a multidisciplinary approach to learning.
UNC Kenan-Flagler also provides opportunities for students to pursue dual-degree programs, with nine options available. Additionally, the school welcomes students from other departments to enroll in MBA courses, enriching the learning experience with diverse perspectives and insights.
