Anaida Hasan: A Trailblazer for Women in Business
Anaida Hasan, a first-generation Bengali from Dhaka, Bangladesh, is making a name for herself in the business world with her dedication to promoting women in business, equality in education, cultural diversity, and inclusivity. With a Bachelor of Science and Masters in Accounting from the University of South Florida, Hasan previously worked as an Audit Associate at Ernst & Young, focusing on financial service organizations.
Choosing to further her education, Hasan pursued her MBA at Emory Goizueta in Atlanta, citing the city’s vibrant corporate environment and diversity, as well as the school’s unique Global Experiential Modules and tight-knit community. She is eager to contribute to the Goizueta Finance Club and Graduate Women in Business to deepen her knowledge in governance and leadership.
Hasan’s most significant career achievement to date has been the relationships she has built, particularly during her time at EY where she audited Fortune 100 companies. Looking ahead, Hasan aspires to be a compassionate and agile leader with a strong sense of emotional intelligence and perseverance.
For potential applicants to Emory Goizueta’s MBA program, Hasan advises reflecting on their motivations and embracing the journey’s highs and lows, emphasizing that success is not always a linear path. As she continues to pave the way for women in business, Hasan’s impact and influence are sure to resonate far beyond the boardroom.
