Meet the MBA Class of 2025: Kate Tully, University of Texas

Kate Tully, a pickleball entrepreneur and adventure junkie, is embarking on a new journey by pursuing an MBA at Texas McCombs School of Business.
With a diverse academic background that includes a BA in Psychology and Photography and a MSc in Global Crime, Tully spent the last four years building her business, Kefi Pickleball, before deciding to further her education in business.
Choosing Texas McCombs for its strong entrepreneurial ecosystem and flexible programming, Tully is eager to take advantage of opportunities such as the Venture Fellows program and the MBA Impact Investing Network and Training.
Describing the McCombs community as collaborative and competitive in a fun way, Tully’s biggest accomplishment thus far has been her work with International Justice Mission in Uganda.
Looking ahead, Tully hopes her MBA experience will allow her to leverage her strengths to make a positive impact on the world. Her advice to potential applicants is to be genuine, love being part of a team, and possess confidence and empathy.
