A Doctor Couple’s Journey: UF Physicians Pursue Executive MBA Degrees

Sonal and Sanjeev Tuli, a prestigious doctor couple at the University of Florida College of Medicine, are embarking on a new educational journey together. The couple, who have been married for 32 years and both hold leadership roles in the medical field, have decided to further enhance their skills by pursuing Executive MBA degrees at UF Warrington College of Business.

Sanjeev Tuli’s dedication to sports and extracurricular activities during medical school led him to meet Sonal Tuli, who is now the Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Florida College of Medicine. Sanjeev, on the other hand, serves as the Associate Chair and Chief of General Academic Pediatrics.

Despite their impressive backgrounds in medicine, the Tulis recognized the importance of formal training in areas like operational management and budgeting to excel in their leadership roles. Thus, they made the decision to pursue their Executive MBA degrees simultaneously at UF Warrington College of Business.

The Tulis, who have already earned a Master’s in Education from UF, chose to pursue their Executive MBA at the university due to its high rankings and value for money. They believe that their new business education will not only enhance their skills but also help them excel in their leadership roles at the University of Florida College of Medicine.
