Bishop Kelley’s Sam Rhoades V and Reid Jones have recently made significant strides in their football careers by signing with Air Force and Central Arkansas, respectively. Their contributions to the Comets’ success, including winning a district title and reaching the 5A state quarterfinals, have not gone unnoticed.
Rhoades, an exceptional athlete, had several options on the table but ultimately decided to join the Air Force team. His deliberations included considering opportunities at Army and New Mexico State. However, Rhoades believes that Air Force offers him the perfect combination of high-level football and academics. With his commitment and determination, he is set to make an impact both on and off the field.
Meanwhile, Jones experienced a mixture of excitement and nerves on signing day, but in the end, he made the decision to join Central Arkansas. His choice reflects his trust in the university and their football program. Jones hopes his athletic prowess will continue to develop under the guidance of Central Arkansas’ coaching staff.
