Zillennial Laurence Milstein, hailing from Scarsdale, New York, is making waves in the business world by bridging brands and institutions with next-generation culture. Milstein, a graduate of Yale College with a major in Global Affairs, co-founded PRZM before embarking on his studies at Oxford Saïd Business School.
The decision to attend Oxford Saïd was driven by Milstein’s desire to gain international exposure at an educational institution known for its cutting-edge programs, while also immersing himself in century-old spaces and traditions. One such tradition that stood out to Milstein was the sport of “Real Tennis,” a precursor to lawn tennis that takes place inside an indoor space resembling a medieval courtyard.
Milstein’s time at Oxford Saïd was filled with memorable experiences, including the Matriculation Day ceremony. Alongside his friends, he enjoyed punting along the Cherwell River in full sub-fusc, Oxford’s academic dress, evoking scenes reminiscent of the famous novel Brideshead Revisited.
Beyond academic endeavors, Milstein also played an active role in planning Trinity College’s Chanukah celebration, which led to a profound interaction with a fellow student who had a personal connection to the Jewish tradition.
