Wartburg College Wrestling Excels at NCAA Championships
Wartburg College made a strong showing at the NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships, with Massoma Endene winning the national title at 197 pounds and remaining undefeated. The team took second place overall, with five out of seven wrestlers earning All-American status. This continues Wartburg’s tradition of success in wrestling, as they have now won 15 team titles since 1996.
Other Iowa programs also had strong showings at the NCAAs, with Loras College, Luther College, Coe College, and Cornell College all performing well. Full team results from the NCAA Division III championships can be found online.
Meanwhile, at the NCAA Division II Championships, Upper Iowa wrestlers had their own standout performances. Chase Luensman took second place and Tate Murty took fifth in their respective weight classes, helping Upper Iowa finish 17th overall.
