For the 17th consecutive year, the chapter has been awarded the Superior Chapter award by the Beta Alpha Psi (BAP) National Council. BAP is an international honors organization for financial information majors, which focuses on academic excellence, professional development, and community service.

The Zeta Iota Chapter has been an active and influential presence on the University of Nevada campus since its establishment in 1981.
