South Devon College A level students have achieved outstanding results, with an impressive 97% overall pass rate. The college, known for its history of high pass rates, saw 65% of students achieve A*- C grades this year, with almost 40% achieving A* to B grades.
The success story doesn’t end there. South Devon College achieved 100% achievement rates across various subjects, including English literature and language, Business, Chemistry, Physics, Law, Sociology, Politics, and Criminology. The dedication and hard work of both students and teachers is evident in these remarkable results.
Technical and professional qualifications also performed exceptionally well at the college. In particular, the first cohort of T Level students achieved an outstanding 95% pass rate, with 40% of them achieving distinctions. This is a significant achievement for both the students and the college.
Matthew Harbour, Vice Principal and Deputy CEO of South Devon College, expressed his delight at these exceptional results, especially considering the challenges faced due to the pandemic grading. The national trend of lower grades made these outstanding achievements even more noteworthy.

Abbey will be the first in her family to attend university, marking a significant milestone for her and her family.
