Osereme Ujadughele, also known as Ose, has recently achieved a major milestone in her MBA career by landing a top job with renowned management consulting firm, McKinsey & Company. This achievement is a culmination of Ose’s passion for building connections with people, which she developed through her upbringing in a Nigerian family in California and her time at a boarding school in Nigeria.
Before embarking on her MBA journey, Ose worked at a winery in California. It was during this time that she realized the importance of gaining a better understanding of business and expanding her leadership skills, leading her to pursue an MBA. To further enhance her experience, Ose participated in two prestigious programs: the Forté MBALaunch program for women in business and The Consortium, which provides fellowships and networking opportunities for underrepresented minority students.
Choosing to study at Goizueta in Atlanta was a strategic move on Ose’s part. The diverse community and vibrant city location of the university appealed to her, providing ample opportunities for networking and personal growth. Throughout her MBA journey, Ose explored various classes and discovered her passion for marketing.
One of the highlights of Ose’s MBA experience was participating in experiential learning opportunities, such as the Goizueta IMPACT program. This unique program allowed her to apply her knowledge in a practical setting, further honing her skills and preparing her for the real world of business.
During her MBA program, Ose completed an internship with consumer goods giant Proctor & Gamble, which proved to be a pivotal moment for her career. This experience solidified her desire to pursue a career in consulting, leading her to set her sights on McKinsey & Company.
With the support of the Goizueta career management team and her well-established network, Ose successfully secured a position as an implementation consultant at McKinsey. She attributes her success to her passion for connecting with others and the network she built during her MBA journey, as well as her time as a Consortium fellow.
