Title: Student’s Tragic Death Sparks Investigation into Drunk Biker
Muvattupuzha, Kerala – The Muvattupuzha police have launched an investigation into the untimely demise of Namitha R, a promising student of Nirmala College. Namitha tragically lost her life after being struck by an allegedly intoxicated motorcyclist near the college premises.
Authorities sent blood samples of the accused biker, identified as Anson Roy, for testing to determine if he was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident. Preliminary analysis of his blood samples revealed the presence of alcohol, adding a new dimension to the investigation.
The incident occurred when Anson, allegedly speeding on his motorcycle, collided with Namitha and her friend Anushree while they were crossing the road. Shockingly, the impact caused Namitha to be dragged several meters before the bike eventually came to a halt.
Anson has been charged with culpable homicide, and as the investigation continues, the police are also looking into the possibility of him being under the influence of drugs. To gather further evidence, the hospital collected five blood samples from Anson for comprehensive analysis.
Although Anson suffered only minor injuries, he remains under police monitoring at the hospital until he can be discharged. Meanwhile, Anushree, who also sustained injuries during the accident, is currently on the path to recovery and is expected to be released soon.
Taking swift action, the police have prepared a report to suspend Anson’s driving license and cancel the registration of the motorcycle involved in the tragic incident. Investigative efforts have revealed that Anson has a troubling criminal record, including six prior cases, involving a murder attempt and drug-related offenses.
Deeply grieving the loss of their daughter, Namitha’s parents are demanding that appropriate punishment be imposed on Anson to prevent similar accidents in the future. They assert that Namitha and Anushree were crossing the road cautiously when the bike directly hit them, leaving them with no chance to escape the tragedy.
Namitha was a highly gifted student who aspired to become a chartered accountant. Her academic potential and dreams of a promising career have been cut short tragically, leaving her family and friends devastated.
As the investigation unfolds, the entire community mourns the loss of a bright young talent and emphasizes the need for stricter road safety measures to prevent such heart-wrenching incidents from recurring.
