Last Updated on April 12, 2024 by Robert C. Hoopes

NFL sibling stars Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce were in for a surprise when they were presented with their official diplomas from the University of Cincinnati, more than a decade after their time at the school. The surprise commencement ceremony took place at the school’s Fifth Third Arena and was a momentous occasion for the brothers.

Jason, who had already received his degree in marketing in 2010 but did not attend his class commencement ceremony, was finally able to celebrate his achievement. Travis, on the other hand, completed his remaining credit hours in 2022 to earn his degree in interdisciplinary studies.

The ceremony included the Lombaby Games competition and a taping of the New Heights podcast, adding to the excitement of the day. The brothers were surrounded by their proud parents and Jason’s wife, making the event even more special.

While Travis’ girlfriend, Taylor Swift, was not in attendance, her music was prominently featured during the ceremony. Travis even got into the spirit by dancing along to a marching band rendition of Swift’s hit song “Shake It Off.”

In a surprising twist, Travis announced plans for the upcoming Kelce Jam music festival in Kansas City. The festival promises performances from artists like Lil Wayne, Diplo, and 2 Chainz, along with new entertainment elements like a possible drone show. Travis expressed his desire for Jason to attend the festival, believing that having his brother there would only add to the excitement.
