This weekend, anticipation is high as five regions prepare to battle it out to determine their representatives for the upcoming D-III College Championships in Milwaukee. In the Great Lakes region, #17 Davenport is leading the pack as the favorite, boasting a strong roster and standout performances this season. However, Grace Lancer, led by star brothers Joel and Nathan Close, are determined to make a comeback after a solid season. Other teams to keep an eye on in the Great Lakes region include Butler Big Dog and Wheaton Mastodon.

The Metro East region is shaping up to be wide open, with #23 Rochester looking to make a splash following a surprise Nationals appearance last year. The College of New Jersey, Wesleyan, SUNY-Cortland, Army, and others are also contenders in the Metro East region. In the North Central region, top-ranked St. Olaf and #8 Carleton CHOP are the frontrunners with two bids up for grabs. Michigan Tech, Macalester, and Grinnell are also in the mix in the highly competitive North Central region.

Over in the Ohio Valley region, #10 Franciscan and #9 Cedarville are the favorites vying for two bids. Keep an eye on teams like Scranton Electric City and Xavier B.L.O.B. as well. In the South Central region, #2 Oklahoma Christian and #19 Colorado School of Mines are looking to secure their spots at Nationals. Colorado College, Missouri S&T, John Brown, and Truman State are also expected to contend in the deep South Central region, which experienced historic upsets last year and is anticipated to be fiercely competitive once again.
