JoAnne Epps, Acting President of Temple University, sadly passed away at the age of 72 after falling ill during a memorial service on campus. The cause of her death has not yet been announced, but it has been reported that Epps collapsed on stage during the event.

Immediately after her collapse, Epps received prompt medical attention at the scene and was quickly transported to Temple Hospital. Medical professionals made efforts to resuscitate her, however, despite their best attempts, they were unable to save her life.
