Advanced Auto Wholesale to Fill Void in Downtown Redding
Valley Auto Wholesale, a well-known used car dealership, closed its doors two years ago, leaving a void in downtown Redding. However, the Hoff family, who owns the corner lot at Eureka Way and Market Street, has been actively searching for a new tenant to fill the space. Finally, they have found a solution.
The Hoff family has leased the property to Advanced Auto Wholesale, a reputable used car dealership with locations in Anderson and Red Bluff. The business has signed a two-year lease with a one-year option, ensuring their presence in downtown Redding for at least the foreseeable future.
The arrival of Advanced Auto Wholesale is anticipated to benefit the local community by offering a wider range of used car options in the area. This dealership, along with other existing dealerships, will help meet the demands of the city’s vehicle traffic and contribute to the ongoing redevelopment of downtown Redding.
As the dealership eagerly prepares to open its doors to customers, it must first receive approval from the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). If all goes well, Advanced Auto Wholesale hopes to commence operations by December 1. The addition of this establishment is expected to boost the local economy and provide job opportunities for residents.
In other news, one of downtown Redding’s longstanding businesses, Naked Coffee, has recently closed its doors after more than 10 years of operation. The coffee kiosk, situated at an ideal location, is now up for sale with an asking price of $250,000. Interested parties looking to invest in the local coffee industry now have a unique opportunity to capitalize on this prime location.
As the holiday season approaches, Redding anticipates the placement of its annual Christmas tree, which will be located at the intersection of Market and Yuba streets. This year, the tree has been donated by Sierra Pacific Industries and will be lit up for the 104th time on December 1. The lighting ceremony will coincide with Redding’s famous First Friday festivities.
The festivities will also feature delightful performances from the Enterprise High School Victorian Carolers, adding a touch of traditional holiday cheer. Additionally, the Kool April Nites and Shasta Classic Car Club will be part of the event, celebrating the city’s love for classic cars.
Redding’s downtown community eagerly awaits the opening of Advanced Auto Wholesale and the opportunities it will bring to the area. With the arrival of this dealership, combined with the excitement surrounding the upcoming Christmas tree lighting ceremony, vibrant and festive times lie ahead for downtown Redding.
