Ursuline College in Pepper Pike, Ohio is making big changes to its MBA program with the launch of a fully online option. The redesign aims to provide students with flexibility and convenience while pursuing their MBA.

The online program will be taught in an asynchronous manner, meaning that students can learn at their own pace and on their own schedule. This format allows individuals to attend classes whenever it fits into their busy lives or work schedules.

Mary Kovach, the MBA Program Director at Ursuline College, believes that earning an MBA can greatly enhance one’s earning power, regardless of their undergraduate degree. With the new online program, students will have access to professors for questions and mentoring, further enhancing their learning experience.

Kovach, who recently joined Ursuline College from Miami University, designed the program to bridge the gap between theory and practice. The curriculum is focused on building applicable skills and emphasizes leadership development for career mobility.

The new MBA program comprises 10 classes, each carrying three credit hours, resulting in a total of 30 credit hours for completion. The streamlined curriculum aims to provide students with a well-rounded education while equipping them with the necessary skills to succeed in their careers or businesses.

Additionally, Ursuline College has future plans to unveil joint MBA and DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice) programs. This expansion shows the college’s commitment to meeting the evolving needs of professionals in various fields.

The previous hybrid MBA program at Ursuline College closed a year ago for revision, and the introduction of the fully online program is expected to attract increased enrollment. The combination of rolling admissions, affordability, and the flexibility of online learning make the new program an appealing option for prospective students.

Mary Kovach, a Cleveland native with extensive experience teaching business classes and leading global business units for Fortune 500 companies, is excited to bring her expertise to Ursuline College. Her wealth of knowledge and industry experience will undoubtedly benefit students in the new online MBA program.

Classes for the redesigned MBA program will commence on August 21, 2023. This date marks an exciting new chapter for Ursuline College and its commitment to providing quality education in an accessible and contemporary format.
