MBA Career Excellence at Indiana University – Columbus Program

The IU MBA Columbus program recently held its annual Etiquette Dinner and Awards Ceremony on April 25 to celebrate the class of 2024. The event, held at a local venue, aimed to educate and prepare MBA program participants for future business dinners with a mealtime learning experience guided by etiquette consultant Mary Starvaggi.
The highlight of the evening was Columbus Mayor Mary Ferdon serving as the guest speaker, sharing insights and advice with the guests. The ceremony also saw the presentation of awards to recognize outstanding achievements within the MBA program.
Some of the prestigious awards given out included Outstanding MBA Faculty, Community Partner Award, MBA Culture Award, Outstanding MBA Student, First Year Leadership Award, and the Georgia Blair Miller Business Student Award. The winners were announced during the ceremony, with each recipient being recognized for their exceptional contributions to the program.
Among the winners were Kevin Jones, Ed.D for Outstanding MBA Faculty, the Greater Columbus Indiana Economic Development Corporation for Community Partner Award, Karen Torres and Saul Arce Mendez for MBA Culture Award, Zachary Riley for Outstanding MBA Student, Laura Moses-Wadsworth for First Year Leadership Award, and Rina Alamo for the Georgia Blair Miller Business Student Award.
Overall, the Etiquette Dinner and Awards Ceremony was a successful and memorable event that not only celebrated the accomplishments of the class of 2024 but also provided valuable networking and learning opportunities for the MBA program participants.
